The Vibe
Just a few minutes from Downtown, La Veleta is laid-back and unpolished in the best way. You will find excellent restaurants, tucked-away bars, yoga studios, and boutique shops slowly appearing among the homes and villas. Many roads are still unpaved, so bring comfy shoes or a bike, but that rough-around-the-edges feel is exactly the charm. Calle 7 has become the unofficial heart of the neighborhood, lined with some of the best little spots in town.
Is La Veleta Safe?
