Ana y José sits on a long, calm stretch of Tulum’s hotel zone, attached to the boutique hotel of the same name – one of the very first properties on this beach, and still one of the most quietly loved. Palapa-shaded beds, soft sand underfoot, and a kitchen that’s been feeding Tulum for decades.

Ana y José is a slower kind of beach day. Music played low enough to talk over, long lunches that turn into longer afternoons, and stretches of sand where you can actually hear the water.
