Tulum’s dinner experiences are a category of their own – places where the meal is built around entertainment, not just food. Most start as sit-down dinner venues at 7-8 PM and gradually shift into full parties by 10 PM, so you get both in one night without changing venues. The shows are free with your dinner – no cover, no ticket. They run on a weekly schedule, so the options depend on what days you’re visiting.

How it Works
Book a dinner reservation
You're booking a table at a restaurant, not a ticket to a show. The entertainment is included with your meal - no separate cover or entry fee.
Arrive for dinner
Show up at 7:30-9 PM (depending on the venue) and order dinner. The food is excellent - these are top-tier Tulum restaurants, not just show venues.
The show begins
Between 8:30–9:30 PM, the show starts around you. Fire performers, drummers, plate smashing, or live music transform the restaurant into a spectacle. You watch from your table.
Stay for the party
By 10 PM, most venues transition into a party atmosphere - the tables stay, but the music gets louder, people stand, and the energy shifts. Stay for the party or leave after dinner - your call.
Pricing
Good to Know
- Free means no cover charge: the show is complimentary, but you’re expected to dine. Think dinner reservation with live entertainment, not a free concert. If you arrive after ~10 PM when the party starts, you don’t not need to dine.
- Reservations: We recommend making a reservation when you are with a larger group (5+ guests) or on a Thursday to Sunday. Venues usually accept walk-ins, but a reservation guarantees availability and that your group can be seated together.
- Dress code: Smart casual. The dress code is usually not stricly enforced, but no tank-tops or flip flops are allowed.
- Getting there: All entertainment restaurants are in the hotel zone (20-25 min from town). For 3 people or less a taxi is a good option. For larger groups we recommend booking a private driver. When we make the reservation larger groups get a discount on the roundtrip transportation.
- Age: Restaurants generally welcome all ages. Check individual event pages for more details.
- Seating duration: Wit a reservation your table is guaranteed for at least 2 hours. On busier nights, you may be asked to move to the bar area after that – but you’re welcome to stay as long as there’s space.
