Kanan is a wood-built beach club with a treehouse feel: tropical hardwoods, sand underfoot, nest loungers facing straight onto the water. Grown-up, and better for it.
Come in late morning, settle into a cabana, and let the day shape itself. Ceviche and a mezcal cocktail, a swim, a long lunch, the DJ easing in around noon. The menu is mostly Mexican (chilaquiles and enchiladas in the morning, then tacos, ceviche and grilled fish) and the service feels more boutique hotel than beach club.

My fiancé and I had an incredible stay at the Kanan hotel! The hotel is absolutely stunning and is nothing we’ve ever seen before. The staff also so accommodating and friendly. Special shout out to Jhony who was our server at the beach club for the majority of our stay and he was fabulous!! Extremely polite and made sure we were satisfied/taken care of the whole time. We adored him and all the other staff members. We can’t wait to come back again. I highly recommend Kanan hotel! The location was also awesome, so many clubs/restaurants/bars/shops to choose from.
I came to Kanan for a girls trip for the weekend. Overall my stay was pleasant- the rooms were clean and had a great view of the pool. The food was great- the breakfast was delicious, the coffee tasty, and dinner in the nest was an unforgettable experience. We loved the risotto, although my duck was a bit chewy. We also got bitten by bugs at dinner at the nest on the rooftop and the server got us some insect repellent which was nice. The beach club was fun- I appreciated that they had an included open bar from 12-2 every day, although was disappointed they couldn’t do a pina colada. The swim up bar was cool and the jungle vibes of the hotel was really unique. My biggest complaint was that it was LOUD. Starting at 12 pm the DJ would start playing music with loud thumping bass, and it did not stop until 9/10 pm. When we’d try to relax in our rooms after the beach before dinner it was impossible to nap due to the noise level- and I had on earplugs with noise cancelling headphones. Falling asleep at night was difficult to either loud drunken patrons in the halls or loud bass from the hotel next door. Unfortunately I would not stay here again due to the noise levels here. It’s in a very walkable area so it was nice to check out other bars and restaurants nearby.

The sunset views were absolutely breathtaking, and the atmosphere made the evening feel extra special. The food was delicious, but what truly stood out was the exceptional service. Another big plus is that they have convenient parking, which is a huge advantage compared to many other hotels in the area. This place is truly a hidden gem and deserves much more attention
We’re currently staying at Kanan Tulum and it’s been an amazing experience so far. The whole place feels like a jungle escape,beautiful design, great atmosphere, and the perfect balance of relaxing and fun. A special shoutout to Miguel, who has been absolutely incredible throughout our stay. Every morning at breakfast, he takes such great care of us, always attentive, friendly, and making sure everything is perfect to start our day. He remembers what we like and makes it feel really personal, which we’ve loved. He’s also been looking after us at the beach club and by the pool, always checking in and keeping the drinks coming without us ever having to ask. His service is next level, super professional but also warm and genuine. He even remembers our room number when we have no idea ourselves hahaha, which honestly says it all. Miguel has truly gone above and beyond and made our stay even more special. Highly recommend!

Joost and the Tulum Concierge team were exceptional. Joost helped us plan a full week-long bachelor party and absolutely nailed every detail. From restaurants and beach clubs to activities and logistics, everything was seamless and top tier. He was incredibly responsive, well connected, and always had great recommendations that matched exactly what we were looking for. Planning something for a group can be stressful, but Joost made the whole process easy and smooth from start to finish. Highly recommend working with him if you're planning a trip to Tulum.
We used YTC for our Anniversary this week. We used their private driver service from the airport to our hotel and back. Our drivers were professional, extremely nice and on time. YTC also booked our beachclub for us within minutes of us calling. They answered all our questions and gave us really good suggestions while in Tulum. They even checked to make sure we arrived back home safely. We will definitely use them again when we return to Tulum.
YTC was phenomenal for our bachelorette trip. They were very responsive and helpful when creating our itinerary. Whether it was pick up from the airport or driving us from beach clubs to dinner—they were extremely prompt and safe. The pricing was also the most reasonable compared to other companies. I had the absolute best experience with Your Tulum Concierge. I am an overthinker and an over-planner and Paola was an absolute gem at securing all the reservations and transportation requests I had. She has an amazing attitude, was flexible with changes, and was incredibly thorough with her follow ups pre-trip and during our excursions, just checking in to make sure we were having the best experience. Toward the end of our time at a beach club in Tulum, Joost was readily available and willing to accommodate an early pick up with beverage service on our ride back to our resort. Overall, the experience was 10/10 and I will never plan a trip to Tulum without Your Concierge Tulum again. Thank you all so much!!

What is the cancellation policy?
Reservations without a deposit can be canceled at no cost before the reservation time. Advance payments are not refundable. Rescheduling may be possible depending on availability and notice.
