Kanan is a wood-built beach club with a treehouse feel – tropical hardwoods, sand underfoot, nest loungers facing straight onto the water. Adults only, and better for it.
Come in late morning, settle into a cabana, and let the day shape itself. Ceviche and a mezcal cocktail, a swim, a long lunch, the DJ easing in around one. The menu runs international with a healthy lean – grain bowls and grilled fish alongside the tacos – and the service feels more boutique hotel than beach club.
