Gitano Beach Club is at the quiet southern end of Tulum’s Hotel Zone, right before the Sian Kaan reserve. 120 meters of white sand, turquoise water, and rows of sunbeds and cabanas shaded by palm trees.
This is not a pool party. Gitano is for people who want a beautiful day on the beach without being overwhelmed. You arrive in the morning, pick your spot, order ceviche and a mezcal cocktail, and let the afternoon build. The DJ plays from 1 PM, Thursday to Sunday: deep house and tropical rhythms that set the mood without taking over the conversation.

Gitano does everything beautifully—their Jungle club in Tulum, their grand NYC spot, and most certainly their Beach club in Tulum. Sexy vibe and design, delicious food, and special cocktails. Attention to detail by manager Alan, splendid service particularly by Ulises and Cecelia. And spectacular special events. Their June Full Moon party was off the charts fun for our group of 10. Bang up job by them through World Cup. Romantic afternoon with my wife today in the (sargasso free!) pool.
Loved my time at Gitano Beach Tulum! The service and food were fantastic. I really loved the overall vibe of the place. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy being on the beach! Definitely recommend checking them out if you’re planning on coming to Tulum!
Beautiful spot with absolutely breathtaking views and immaculately maintained grounds. The drinks were delicious, and Enrique’s service really stood out — attentive, friendly, and made the experience even better. Unfortunately, a few food items weren’t available during our visit, including the sweet potato fries and all of the pizzas. We ended up ordering the chicken skewers and guacamole instead, and both were excellent. Overall, a great place to relax, enjoy the scenery, and have a few well-made drinks. Will definitely be back!
We decided to come here on a Monday night having not spent any time around the beach in Tulum. Due to the lack of people, we ended up having a pretty much completely private dinner service as only one other table came towards the end of our meal. It was kinda cool but also very sad to see no one else there because it’s a gorgeous site (bar the sargassum). As there aren’t as many people on the beach, be sure to prebook a taxi or whatever travel back because taxis stop operating at a certain time. We had to pay one of the security guys to drive us back into town in his own personal car! The food was very good - we got the tasting menu - particularly, the pasta, carrots, and the churros. The bread and butter delicious too. Shout out to the servers and the bar tenders for flawless cocktails and the lil extra glass of Prosecco for our anniversary dinner. Hope to come back when the place is in full swing.
Our last day we decided to spend at Gitano Beach and they did not disappoint! We reserved a beach cabana online for Friday at 10am and parked in their lot. They ask for payment before you settle in, and inform you of the price policy once again. Though the website said 5,000 pesos, they charged us 4,000 with a 3,000 credit towards food and drinks, which we were totally fine with. It was just my partner and I so we were able to get breakfast(on the beach), smoothies, late lunch and some drinks. The food and drinks were amazing, the tacos hit the spot after jumping in the ocean. The service, from the hostess to our waiter, Alfredo, was absolutely amazing. They really take care of you here and were on top of everything. Timely check ins to see if we needed/wanted anything and made sure we felt right at home and comfortable! We truly relaxed in our cozy corner cabana at Gitano Beach and had no one next to us for the entire day, from 10am to 5:30pm, which I consider pure luck, but who knows! No music in the morning, then slightly gets louder as the day goes on but it’s super chill for a Friday and we still fell asleep plenty of times. The beach is beautiful and a bit down from the crowded area so it’s a bit quieter with less hotels. I definitely can’t wait to come back with some friends and rent a cabana/suite for the night! Joost and the Tulum Concierge team were exceptional. Joost helped us plan a full week-long bachelor party and absolutely nailed every detail. From restaurants and beach clubs to activities and logistics, everything was seamless and top tier. He was incredibly responsive, well connected, and always had great recommendations that matched exactly what we were looking for. Planning something for a group can be stressful, but Joost made the whole process easy and smooth from start to finish. Highly recommend working with him if you're planning a trip to Tulum.
We used YTC for our Anniversary this week. We used their private driver service from the airport to our hotel and back. Our drivers were professional, extremely nice and on time. YTC also booked our beachclub for us within minutes of us calling. They answered all our questions and gave us really good suggestions while in Tulum. They even checked to make sure we arrived back home safely. We will definitely use them again when we return to Tulum.
YTC was phenomenal for our bachelorette trip. They were very responsive and helpful when creating our itinerary. Whether it was pick up from the airport or driving us from beach clubs to dinner—they were extremely prompt and safe. The pricing was also the most reasonable compared to other companies. I had the absolute best experience with Your Tulum Concierge. I am an overthinker and an over-planner and Paola was an absolute gem at securing all the reservations and transportation requests I had. She has an amazing attitude, was flexible with changes, and was incredibly thorough with her follow ups pre-trip and during our excursions, just checking in to make sure we were having the best experience. Toward the end of our time at a beach club in Tulum, Joost was readily available and willing to accommodate an early pick up with beverage service on our ride back to our resort. What is the cancellation policy?
Reservations without an advance payment can be canceled at no cost before the reservation time. With an advance payment, cancel more than 7 days ahead for a refund minus a 100 USD processing fee; within 7 days, it is non-refundable.
