Frequently Asked Questions
What's the vibe at Sipalitos?
A lagoon – not a cenote – 30 minutes from Tulum down a dirt road, where the jungle opens up onto wooden decks at the water’s edge. Longest day (open until 8 PM), and the most casual atmosphere. Kayaks and paddleboards included, a cocktail bar that keeps up, and a kitchen serving modern Mexican. The default pick for groups and families who want a full day on the water.
What food is served?
Modern Mexican – brunch (eggs, chilaquiles, pancakes, fruit), lunch (ceviche, tacos, salads), grilled mains (ribeye, fish, beef and vegan burgers). Strong cocktail program (margaritas, mezcalitas, negronis) and mocktails for non-drinkers.
What's the minimum age?
All ages welcome.
Are kayaks and paddleboards included?
Yes – kayaks and paddleboards are included with every entry. Hammocks over the water too.
Is biodegradable sunscreen required?
Yes. Regular sunscreen damages the cenote ecosystem and isn’t allowed in the water.
