Tseen-Ja is the Japanese restaurant within Azulik – same iconic treetop nest setting as Kin-Toh, different cuisine entirely. The kitchen focuses on Japanese techniques using fresh seasonal ingredients.

The nest tables are private platforms with 360° views over the jungle canopy, suspended in the Azulik wooden structure. It’s a special occasion destination rather than a casual dinner –  the setting and the price point both reflect that.

Seating Options

Nest Tables are private tables with 360-degree panoramic views of the Tulum jungle.

All nests require a minimum consumption of 3,000 MXN (~150 USD) per person, fully applicable toward food and beverages. The minimum consumption is required on top of the price of the nest.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Japanese counterpart to Kin-Toh – same iconic Azulik nest structure, same suspended-in-the-canopy setting, different cuisine. Sushi, sashimi, robata, and contemporary Japanese signatures from a kitchen focused on technique and seasonal ingredients. Less famous than Kin-Toh but the same architectural experience.

Elegant / smart chic. Beachwear, flip-flops, athletic wear, and overly casual attire aren’t permitted. Heels are not recommended – the wooden structure and elevated platforms aren’t friendly to thin soles. Flat dressy sandals or wedges work best.

Elevated Asian-inspired cuisine, strong Japanese focus – sushi rolls, sashimi platters, robata-grilled mains, contemporary signature plates. Sake and Japanese spirits alongside the broader Azulik wine list.

18+. Strictly adults-only.

Yes – every nest is a fully private dining platform. You don’t share it with strangers.

You can reschedule (subject to availability). If rain starts after service has begun and you choose not to reschedule, your consumed balance moves to a regular indoor table – but 50% of the nest fee applies if the dinner is at least halfway done. Remaining balance applies to the rescheduled date.
