Papaya Playa Project is a beachfront venue at the northern end of Tulum’s Hotel Zone, and one of the city’s longest-running nightlife venues, part of the after-dark scene since Tulum’s earliest days.
The Saturday party is the centerpiece. International DJs across house, techno, and electronic take the booth alongside live performances and immersive lighting, with a dance floor that opens straight onto the sand.

Interesting hotel. Stayed on free Marriott nights otherwise unaffordable. Very rustic and natural vibe. Cool artwork throughout the property. Our room had a basically private pool on the roof, pretty great for an afternoon cool down or midnight swim. Bad time of the year for sargassum but whatever, the sound of the ocean waves is pretty great. Food and drink is good but expensive. A little to au-natural for my taste but if you are fully granola, this is your place.
This was my second time at this hotel and it was just as good as I remember. The service is absolutely top tier (and I don't understand some of the recent negative reviews). My husband and I came here after our recent wedding in Costa Mujeres and had the most amazing experience. The hotel knew we just got married and treated us like a king and queen the entire stay - we were upgraded to an ocean front casita, we were given free champagne, free mezcal shots, etc. The entire staff (front desk, management, restaurant) continuously stepped it up again and again to make our stay the absolute best. In a world where the Tulum hotel zone is crazy expensive, PPP is actually not as expensive for food and drinks. Highly recommend the shrimp questadilla at the beach club, as well as the mezcalita. The little casitas are private and adorable. The bed is very firm (i prefer softer beds), but it was fine overall and all the amenities are great! Thank you PPP for another amazing getaway! We hope to see you again soon.
One of the top 5 DJ sets of my life, hands down. This place has an incredible vibe and the music was unreal from start to finish. But what really made the night was Cristal, our host. She went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of the entire time. She has this natural ability to read the room and keep everything chill and welcoming, never missing a beat. You can tell she genuinely cares about giving people a great experience. If you come here, you're in for a treat - and if Cristal is your host, even better
My partner and I came here for our 6th year anniversary but also to rest & recharge from life. The tropical eco-friendly atmosphere was exactly what we needed for this specific vacation. Shoutout to Javier & Ricardo for welcoming us with open arms and making sure we had a relaxing week. We participated in the yoga, breath work, and full moon dance party on-site which was a nice plus! We had breakfast daily at the PPP beach restaurant at the food was delicious, the vibes was were relaxing, and the service was perfecto. Shoutout to Sergio, Alfie, and Susanna! We also got a couples massage on the beachfront which was so peaceful. Shoutout to Lupia & Cynthia! Overall, the location is perfect and if you are in the mood for a tropical, jungle get-away, this is your spot. Make sure to get a villa with a private pool, it’s worth it!

I want to thank YTC, for their quick response to get a private car around Tulum last minute. Everything was booked and driver showed up within 35 min. super Friendly driver who took us around the city , then dropped us off at a local place. Really felt VIP and highly recommend !

We used YTC for our Anniversary this week. We used their private driver service from the airport to our hotel and back. Our drivers were professional, extremely nice and on time. YTC also booked our beachclub for us within minutes of us calling. They answered all our questions and gave us really good suggestions while in Tulum. I had a wonderful experience staying at the home in Tulum! The home was spotless, stylish, and exactly as described in the listing. The bed was super comfortable, the kitchen had everything I needed, and the Wi-Fi was fast — perfect for both relaxing and getting some work done. The location was ideal — close to restaurants, shops, and public transportation, but still quiet at night.
