Select nights at Chambao feature a live guitarist and fire show, running alongside the DJ, with sparkler moments that build through the evening. The energy lifts as the night goes on, but the room stays seated: the show comes to your table and you can still hear each other talk.
The menu is the same as any other night: a premium steakhouse built on Kobe, Wagyu and aged Creekstone Farms cuts, fresh seafood including lobster and colossal octopus, and the signature Lucifer tomahawk flambéed tableside.

We literally had the most incredible night. We were here to celebrate my partner Steve’s birthday. We are locals in Tulum, we have tried many places and this is definitely hands-down. One of our favorites. Ines and Gener our servers were impeccable. They paid anmazing attention to us in every moment and the food was outstanding. We shared a burrata salad, Maine lobster empanadas and the aged Ribeye. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was a 10/10, and the service was beyond five stars. We went to Tulum for a couples trip and chose Chambao for our last dining experience of the trip—and it did not disappoint. The entire place is such a vibe! From the ambiance to the presentation of the food, everything felt special and memorable. It was the perfect way to end our trip. Highly recommend if you’re visiting Tulum!
Great atmosphere and food. The fresh bread and butters were delish as well as the apple salad appetizer. I ordered the octopus for my main and the papas Chambao which were like a cheesy potato gratin. I would 100% recommend the octopus. There are fire dancers weekend nights at 9pm and that was also a treat!
This was definitely a top notch experience from the service to the food to the stunning venue everything was on point. The choice of different butters to the perfectly cooked steak and amazing salad. The prices are quite expensive but the quality and portion sizes reflect the prices. My boyfriend doesnt like guacamole and he absolutely loved theirs! I was tempted to ask for seconds we literally licked it of the bowl...lol. It was for my birthday and they really did make me feel special on ky day. My boyfriend said it was the best steak he'd ever had! He even ate it as left overs for breakfast and said it was as good as the night prior! I would recommend this place, was definitely a hit for us! It was the best meal we had in Tulum.
Lovely Solo birthday celebration. Expensive but portions are huge. All the waiters are overwhelming, felt like I couldn't eat in peace. But everyone was nice and accommodating. September 8th, 2025 Tulum was slow this time of year it was pretty much empty. Good food but some things are just artwork could be better. Example bake potato. Ambience A+. Loved the butters should never go away. Being solo I was diapointed they automatically put tip in. (15%) I'm a tipper 20 to 25% so their lost. I guess they thought I wouldn't tip. Bless the waiter who walked out with me to hail me a cab, since the hostess wouldn't arrange one for me.
