    What Is Parque del Jaguar?

    Parque del Jaguar is a large ecological-recreational park located near the Tulum Archaeological Zone. It’s designed to protect the natural habitat while promoting cultural tourism, outdoor activities, and community experiences. Whether you’re into history, a nature lover, or just looking for something unique to do, this park has it all.

    What to Do at Parque del Jaguar

    Visit the Tulum Ruins

    Walk through the ancient Mayan city, next to the Caribbean Sea. The park offers easy access to the archaeological site.

    Entry Fee and Opening Hours

    Foreign Visitors: Total fee of 618 MXN (~31 USD), comprising 233 MXN (CONANP), 295 MXN (Parque del Jaguar), and 90 MXN (INAH).
    Every Day 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

    Entrance for Restaurants and Beach Clubs

    If you’re planning to spend the day at one of the beach clubs or restaurants located within Jaguar Park, please note that you must pay the park entrance fee—even if you already have a reservation. To access the beach area, you’ll also be asked to show proof of your reservation. However, if your plans include dining after 5 PM, you’ll only need a reservation and won’t be required to pay the park entrance fee.

    Park Rules: What’s Not Allowed

    To protect the park’s delicate ecosystems and ensure a respectful visitor experience, the following items and activities are strictly prohibited:

    Plastic Bags and Bottles: Only reusable containers are allowed.​

    Glass Containers: Not permitted inside the park.​

    Alcoholic Beverages: Consumption is prohibited.​

    Cigarettes and Smoking Products: Smoking is not allowed within the park.​

    Drones: Use of drones is forbidden to protect wildlife and privacy.​

    Loudspeakers and Amplified Music: To maintain tranquility, loud music is not allowed.​

    Pets: Animals are not permitted to preserve the natural habitat.​

    Climbing on Structures: Climbing on ruins or park structures is strictly prohibited.​

    To make your entrance smoother, ensure you’re not carrying any of these items in your bag or vehicle, as you will pass through a search point where security checks for all restricted items.
