What is the Pablo Escobar Mansion in Tulum?

There is a mansion at Tulum’s beach that used to belong to Pablo Escobar. This was one of his houses or ‘hide-outs’ as some people refer them to. One Pablo acquired the property Tulum was very different from what it is now. The mansion was basically in the middle of nowhere.

Later the property was bought by an American. He turned it into a hotel called Casa Malca.

Tours and Costs

Since the building is not in the state it was in when Pablo owned it, there are also no tours or anything like that. You can look around the property though if you buy a drink at the restaurant. Parts of the mansion are only open to guests of the hotel though.
