Rosa Negra is where dinner becomes the whole evening: a Peruvian-Nikkei kitchen with Latin American influences, ceviches and premium cuts, and a room that builds from a resident DJ to live drums, sparklers at the tables and dancers in the aisles. Its New Year’s Eve runs until 2 AM.

This was such an EXPERIENCE!! I booked a birthday dinner here on a Saturday night in hopes to enjoy a great meal and enjoy the "Tribal Fire Dance", unfortunately, the dance did not occur until we were already waiting for valet (after 10pm), however, we did in fact experience a SHOW. The entire restaurant and staff partake in various acts throughout the night (sparklers, drums, spinning napkins, firing up various meals, even dancing on chairs, etc.) It is fun and entertaining, however, it can also be overwhelming and becomes over stimulating the longer you are there. The only part we did not appreciate was the server trying to force us to get up and dance - literally pulling on our arms - this was overbearing and we were over it by then. On to the food and service: You will experience multiple people around you, preparing your table for each course through the night. They are all very friendly and happy to cater to your every need. The food is delicious! We all fully enjoyed every dish we ordered and I feel it was a great value (compared to USD and our fine dining). I recommend trying them out at least once.
I was taken here for my surprise birthday dinner. The ambiance is so nice and exactly what I would want for a nice dinner in Tulum. It was also a Monday so I wasn’t expecting for it to be too turnt up but the vibe was cool and calm. The service was amazing. Our servers Karol & Adrianna took care of us. They were very attentive and their hospitality was on point. The food was also really good!!! I didn’t know what to expect but I would definitely return!
Great food and atmosphere. Can recommend tacos with shrimps & short rib beef - honestly is a must. Service was amazing. We were with kids and had a lovely surprise for them at the end. Note, it's a bit noisy (if you are with kids like us) with music and noise from the road. Anyway, we enjoyed and can only recommend visiting.
Our server, Mike, was extremely attentive and helpful with our dinner selections. The atmosphere and vibes were amazing, and the overall service from the staff was top-tier. The food was incredible as well — highly recommend this spot for dinner!
