Tehmplo is an open-air jungle venue that runs individual events during Tulum’s January festival season, like Zamna. Each night is programmed around a specific artist or concept — past headliners have included Solomun, Michael Bibi, and Mayan Warrior. The sound system is Funktion-One; the production is high-spec but the atmosphere is more intimate than Zamna.

The season runs roughly December 30 through January 12, with events announced individually.

    Ticket Pricing & Types

    Tehmplo ticket prices vary depending on the specific event, artist lineup, and level of access. Common ticket categories include General Admission, VIP, and private tables for select shows.

    • General Admission tickets for Tehmplo events typically range from around 80 USD to 150 USD, depending on the artist and how early the ticket is purchased.
    • VIP tickets usually range from 180 USD to 300 USD, depending on the night and lineup, and may include benefits such as preferential entry and access to designated VIP areas.
    • VIP tickets do not include a VIP table. Tables are a separate purchase and come with dedicated seating, bottle service, and a minimum spend.

    For headline nights, VIP table reservations are the primary offer and not the same as a standard ticket — they include a reserved area and minimum consumption. Some past events have listed VIP tables from around 10.000 USD for approximately 15 people.

    Cashless Bracelet System

    Tehmplo uses a cashless payment system for purchases inside the venue. Upon entry, you pay and then use designated Cash Top Up stations to load credit, which you can use at bars and food stations throughout the event.

    Please note that unused credit is typically not refundable, so load only the amount you expect to spend.

    Event Times

    Tehmplo events typically open in the evening and run late into the night and early morning. Doors for headline nights most often open around 9:00 PM. Most attendees arrive around 11:00 PM, when the atmosphere is fully underway, and the party normally continues until approximately 10:00 AM depending on the event and lineup. Exact opening and end times vary by artist and specific event, so it’s always best to check the official schedule for the night you’re attending.

    Transportation & Arrival Policy

    Tehmplo is located between Tulum town and the hotel zone (beach area), making it more accessible than jungle venues like Zamna, but still requiring some planning.

    Good to Know Before You Go

    Cell reception
    Cell service depends on your mobile provider; some carriers work better than others. There is no official public Wi-Fi at the event.

    Parking
    On-site parking is available near the venue for an additional fee, usually payable in cash. Some attendees choose to park along the road, but you must park responsibly, poorly parked cars may be towed.

    What You Can & Can’t Bring
    Tehmplo has strict rules on what can be brought into the festival. Security checks bags and items at the entrance.

    Not allowed:
    • Outside food, snacks, or beverages (including alcohol)
    • Large backpacks, oversized bags, or bags with bulky items
    • Professional or semi-professional recording equipment (large cameras, tripods, drones)
    • Glass, cans, coolers, or hard containers
    • Fireworks, flares, torches, or anything that could be used as a weapon
    • Sharp objects, aerosols, or chemical sprays
    • Posters on sticks, selfie sticks, laser pointers, megaphones, balloons, inflatables
    • Substances considered illegal or controlled
    • Tobacco products like cigarettes, cigars, and vapes (according to official prohibited items list in terms)

    Security is thorough, and any prohibited items will be confiscated at entry.
