Things to Do

Scenic Lighthouse
A 40-metre tower with a 360° viewing platform and a waterslide descent - the tallest in the Riviera Maya. Walk up for the views, slide down for the thrill.
Snorkel
Xel-Ha's natural inlet is essentially a giant aquarium — calm, crystal-clear water where freshwater rivers meet the Caribbean Sea. Snorkel among hundreds of tropical fish species in a protected cove. No currents, no waves - one of the easiest and most rewarding snorkeling spots in the Riviera Maya.
River Tour
Drift downstream on an inner tube through the park's river system - jungle on both sides, freshwater from underground springs, and natural pools along the way. Relaxed, scenic, and the most popular way to spend an hour.
Cave
An underground cave to explore on foot - cool, quiet, and atmospheric. A break from the sun.
Cliff Climb
A 5-metre cliff jump into the cove. Optional - watch from below if you'd rather not jump.
Trepachanga
A balance and agility obstacle course over the water - ropes, beams, and platforms. Fun for teens and competitive groups.
Pelican’s Flight
A rope swing over a cenote - swing out and drop into the freshwater pool below.
Xel-Há Inlet
The main swimming and snorkeling areas - wide, calm, and surrounded by jungle.
Bay of Caprices
Bay of Caprices is a quieter, more secluded corner for those who want to escape the main cove.
Children’s World
A dedicated area for young kids - shallow pools, small slides, and interactive water activities. Safe and supervised.
Ixchel Grotto and El Dorado Cave
Walk the jungle paths to reach hidden cenotes and the Ixchel Grotto - a turquoise lagoon tucked inside a cave. Quieter and more intimate than the main inlet.
Floating Bridge
Walk across a floating bridge over the river - harder than it looks. A fun challenge for all ages.
