The Festival

Anyma is the solo project of Matteo Milleri, one half of Tale of Us, and the artist who turned electronic shows into monumental visual art, arena tours, a residency at the Las Vegas Sphere, screens the size of buildings. ÆDEN The Lost Temple is the next chapter, an audiovisual journey staged for one night deep in the Mexican jungle.

The setting is half the show. Zamna is Tulum’s festival flagship, a natural jungle arena that hosts the season’s biggest productions, and this night opens its 10th anniversary season: ten days of events from December 31 to January 10, with Anyma’s show the first to be announced.

Music plays on three stages: Temple, Garden and Isla.

VIP adds a lounge with the best views of the stage, priority access, separate bars with premium brands and separate restrooms. Bottle service is available at an extra cost, and VIP does not include backstage access or a table.

This is a review for the festival, but mostly for Zamna as a brand. We had a really great time, but we were insulted to be served this Eristoff vodka while being charged for Grey Goose. Unacceptable. The menus said Grey Goose (the only vodka available to buy), the bill said Grey Goose, the price definitely said Grey Goose but then you’re served this and if you ask about it they simply say “we don’t have grey goose, only by the bottle”. This has been the case all night at all the bars, so it goes without saying that this is the way they work, scamming and disrespecting their customers. The prices are high enough to make a profit while still treating your customers with respect and offering high quality drinks. This is on top of the fact that their menu is the shortest I’ve ever seen, with no mixers besides sodas.
